New Partner and Senior Associate at Glatzová & Co.

The leading law firm Glatzová & Co., which has been operating in Czech Republic since 1994 and in Slovakia since 2008, extends its leadership with a seventh Partner, Erik Kolan, starting from January 1, 2018. At the same time, Associate Marek Bednář has been promoted to Senior Associate starting from January 1, 2018.

Both of them have proven themselves to be valuable members of our team, gaining our confidence and that of our clients,” says Vladimíra Glatzová, the firm’s founding partner. “We see their promotion as an appreciation of their qualities,” 
Erik Kolan joined Glatzová & Co. after completing his studies in 2010. Since January 2015, he has held the position of Senior Associate. As a Partner, he will be responsible for providing legal services in areas of Energy, Real Estate as well as for German-speaking clients. He studied at the Faculty of Law at the Charles University in Prague and the University of Hamburg and graduated from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where he also completed a foreign internship at the Munich law firm SKW Schwarz Rechtsanwälte.
Marek Bednář has been a member of Glatzová & Co. since 2011, after obtaining his Master’s degree at the Faculty of Law at the Charles University in Prague. In his new position, Marek will be responsible for leading the Personal Data Protection and Competition team. In addition, he will continue to provide legal services in the fields of M&A, Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law, in which he has gained a wealth of experience during his career.
